This web site contains some of the images and human faces relating to the Trust’s current development effort. The Development Plan is the Trust’s implementation of Avatar Meher Baba’s instructions set down in the Trust Deed. This is made possible by the contributions of Meher Baba’s followers from around the world. Your donations are the means by which Meher Baba himself provides for the fulfillment of his own wish.
Already this development effort has born visible fruits, and more are soon to come. Children in the Meher English School are benefitting from the new computer facility and science laboratory. They meet in the new auditorium,
travel in the new bus, and play on the new sports field provided under the Plan.
The newly expanded Meher Health Centre gives free medical care to over 37,000 patients a year and provides space for specialists.
The new Amartithi site will accommodate an additional 4,000 overnight visitors at Amartithi and other large gatherings. On Meherabad Hill thousands of new trees have been planted. The most recent achievement of the development efforts is the completion of the Meher Pilgrim Retreat, a new pilgrim facility providing meals and overnight accommodation to 200 visitors. The furnishing and diagnostic monitoring of the newly-completed Manzil-e-Meher (the museum and archiving facility) proceeds, and the construction of the Meherazad archiving
facility is under way and furnishing has begun.
Infrastructure currently under development includes roads, electrical, water and sewage treatment facilities.
All this has been made possible by contributions from over 1,000 Meher Baba lovers who have given $2,500,000.
Large or small, gifts given with love are of great value and most welcome.
Much more needs to be done. The next phase of the plan — up through the completion of the Meher Pilgrim Retreat — will require $1,800,000 over the next several years. Where to Contribute >
